Location; Moot Hall is at the Eastern end of Elstow Village green,
Church End, Elstow, Bedford. MK42 9XT
There are Heritage roads signs (coloured brown and white), directing you to Elstow Abbey and Moot Hall, from all nearby major junctions:
The turning into Church End is narrow (so is easy to miss) and is located on the west side of Elstow High Street, approximately 100 metres south of the Red Lion Pub.
Parking. For visitors to the museum, there is a small car park almost immediately on your right as you enter Church End. Parking here is only for visitors to Moot Hall, when it is open. There is one dedicated disable parking space. There are a few more parking spaces in the lay-by on Church End.
For Music events, parking at Moot Hall is reserved for artists and disabled guests. There is ample parking at the nearby Red Lion pub on Elstow High Street.
Public Transport.
There are two bus stops in Elstow High Street;
Northbound (to travel toward Bedford) - located between the Post Office and Pilgrim House
Southbound to travel toward Luton) - located between Nos. 11 and 15 Bunyan's Mead

There are also bus stops at the western end of Mile road, which is about 200 metres north of the centre of Elstow village. Stagecoach Buses run an approximately half-hourly service to and from Bedford town centre.; Routes 9, 9a & 9b; Timetable (July 2023)
Note; When coming from Bedford, get off at the Western end of Mile Road. This stop is on the North side of the road, so you will need to cross Mile Road and then follow the footpath around the southern side of the roundabout. Just at the start of Progress Way, take the footpath on your left, which leads into High Street.
When returning to Bedford; from Elstow High St, turn right, walk round the southern side of the roundabout onto Mile Road - the bus stop is located about 100 yards east.
